This is a Divinity recipe that my dad has been making most his life.  If you like Divinity, give this a try.  You will like it. 

 

3 Cup Sugar

3/4 Cup White Syrup

3/4 Cup Water

 

Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.  Reduce heat & cook to hard boil.

 

Combine 2 beaten egg whites and 1 pkg gelatin (any flavor).  Beat until mixture forms peaks.  Pour hot syrup in thin stream into egg whites, beating until candy loses gloss and holds shape.
