Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls
So I was looking for a great Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll recipe and didn't find one so I pulled out an old recipe that my mother had given me that she was given by Denise. Using this recipe as a base I adjusted it and came up with this, at least something close to this.
1 1/4 Cups Warm Water
1 Cup Pumpkin Pie Filling (give or take a little)
1 White Jiffy
Pumpkin Spice
Cinnamon
Cake Mix
1 Small box cook vanilla pudding
2 pkg Yeast
1/2 tsp salt
3 1/2 cups flour
Mix all the wet stuff along with 2tsp Pumpkin Spice and 2tsp Cinnamon. Don't beat it, just mix it up. Now mix in everything else but the flour.
Now slowly mix in the flour, 1/2 cup at a time. Again, mix it but don't over mix it.
Let rise 1 hour in warm place.
Mix together 3/4 cup brown sugar, 3/4 cup white sugar, 1tsp Pumpkin Spice and 1tsp Cinnamon. Feel free to adjust these as you like.
Melt 1 stick butter.
Punch and roll it out, top with butter and sprinkle sugar mix evenly all over it.
Also: I chopped over a cup of pecans and sprinkled them all over it also but this is not required.
Roll and slice into rolls and place rolls into floured glass dish. Let rise again and bake at 350 to 375 for around 25 minutes.
Frosting: I made a powered sugar topping out of powered sugar, milk and just a little Pumpkin Spice and Cinnamon. POST COMMENT
